Knights Of The Round Shed?

One of the first people to ever rent an amphitheatre was apparently King Arthur.

Researchers believe Camelot and the fabled Round Table were built on the site of a recently discovered Roman amphitheatre in Chester, England, according to the Telegraph.

The round table was, in fact, a place where King Arthur could meet with hundreds of his knights at a time, and the abandoned Roman outdoor facility was the right size for the event.

“The first accounts of the Round Table show that it was nothing like a dining table but was a venue for upwards of 1,000 people at a time,” Camelot historian Chris Gidlow told the paper.
