Circa Survive Gets On The Stick

The innovative band from Philly gives you not one, but two different options for its tickets presale beginning today.

Circa Survive embarks on its fall headline tour in support of the group’s latest album, Blue Sky Noise, released earlier this year. Beginning in Hartford, Conn., at the Webster Theatre Oct. 15, look for the band to play Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Oct. 16; Towson, Md., at the Recher Theatre Oct. 17 and Carrboro, N.C., at Cat’s Cradle Oct. 19.

But that’s just the first few nights of a tour stretching into the last week of November. Other towns include Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Houston, Hollywood, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Boston and New York.  Support includes Dredg, Codeseven and Animals As Leaders.

The presale beginning at 3 p.m. local time today gives fans two different options. The first is what you’d expect – the opportunity to buy tickets before they’re offered to the general public.

However, the second option includes early membership in the band’s soon-to-be-launched Creature Club, where a special USB memory stick serves as your membership card by unlocking a private area of the band’s website. Bringing the stick to the show gets you exclusive content such as live footage and recordings.

Creature Club membership also gets you exclusive access to the band’s sound checks, proving once again that membership does have its privileges. Meanwhile, the rest of the world, those unwashed masses affectionately known as the “general public,” can buy tickets beginning Aug. 5.

But you gotta get the ball rolling. Click here for the Circa Survive website and here for the band’s MySpace page.
