DJ AM Estate Sued For PU
Isaac Toveg filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court Aug. 3. Toveg alleges that he noticed a “gaseous foul odor and/or smell” emitting from AM’s property, according to TMZ.
Toveg claims when he would go outside he would “experience problems in breathing and stomach ailments and would become severely ill” and he was eventually diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori. Toveg claims he can relate his illness to a “broken sewer pipe” that was discovered on the property after DJ AM died.
“It’s ironic that this suit was filed so close to the year anniversary of Adam [Goldstein]’s passing,” an estate spokeswoman told TMZ, adding that any issues with sewer pipes “are more of a city maintenance issue.” Toveg is suing for $25,000 in damages.
