But it wasn’t an easy victory for Swift. As one of nine celebs nominated by the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America, she needed to win the hearts and minds of keglers everywhere, who for the first time were allowed to vote on who is worthy of this most excellent and striking honor.

In fact, she just narrowly beat out Justin Bieber, picking up 613,324 votes vs Bieber’s 608,015.

“Kingpin” star Bill Murray scored a distant third, receiving 21,451.

But there’s no explanation as to why Jeff Bridges, aka The Dude in “The Big Lebowski,” ended up in fourth place with only 14,754 votes. For many, The Dude embodies all that is good in bowling.

What did Swift do to win such an honor? The Association nominates celebs who have publicly supported bowling and Swift has been seen more than a few times bowling with friends.

While there’s been no mention of any perks Swift might receive to go along with the honor, say a new ball or perhaps a gift certificate good for a few free games, the museum, located in Arlington, Texas, will display her photo along with a plaque later this summer.
