3 Doors Down Still Rockin’ For A Better Life

3 Doors Down brings its annual Better Life Foundation charity event back for a seventh year.  Although the event’s location may have changed, the mission is still the same – to give every child a chance at “The Better Life.”

The Mississippi-based hard rock band started The Better Life Foundation in 2003, naming the charity after the band’s 2000 debut studio album. Since then the foundation has donated nearly $2,000,000 to various children’s charities nationwide although its main focus is on Gulf Coast organizations.

The 2010 event takes place Nov. 12-13 and has moved locations from Biloxi to Tunica, Miss.

Friday, Nov. 12 will feature a charity ride from Jackson, Miss., to Tunica Roadhouse Casino & Hotel. A reception will also be held at the Roadhouse for Charity Ride participants.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, 3 Doors Down will perform at Tunica’s Horseshoe Casino along with special guests Theory Of A Deadman and Saving Abel. A silent auction will take place earlier in the day along with an $80,000 “Citizen Soldier III” motorcycle raffle.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. General admission floor tickets are priced at $50 and VIP balcony tickets including food and beverage will be available for $150.

Raffle tickets for the “Citizen Soldier III” motorcycle are available now for $10. Buyers do not need to be present at the event to win.
