Market Square Paved Over
The former home to the Indiana Pacers and the scene of Elvis’ final concert is getting paved over in Indianapolis.
The Market Square Arena was demolished in 2001 but the gravel parking lots that have taken the arena’s place in the time since will get a fresh coat of asphalt this fall.
The price tag to pave the site will reportedly come in between $600,000 and $800,000.
