The concept is simple enough – creating customized iPhone apps dedicated to specific venues and concert promotion companies. By partnering with tech company Transmogrify, Ticketfly has already released apps dedicated to San Francisco clubs The Rickshaw Stop and Bimbo’s 365 as well as concert promotions outfit R5 Productions and has many more co-branded apps in the pipeline.

However, the newest app from Ticketfly and Transmogrify is co-branded, not with a West Coast club, but a New York City nightspot. Released today, the app for The Brooklyn Bowl makes buying tickets as easy as tapping the screen.

The intuitive screen presents the club’s calendar divided into two parts – Upcoming Shows and Just Announced. Tapping on a specific calendar listing takes the user to a dedicated screen featuring show information including an artist bio and links for purchasing the performer’s music as well as connections to the official website, MySpace and Facebook pages.

But what’s really sweet regarding Ticketfly’s co-branded apps is how easy it is to buy tickets. Just tap, select the delivery method, pay for your purchase and you’re done. If only life was as simple.

The apps also provide all the additional information that concert fans need, including venue details such as maps and directions, event bookmarking and integration with Facebook and Twitter.

And Ticketfly’s list of co-branded apps is growing. In the weeks to come expect individual apps dedicated to Hollywood’s Troubadour, Chicago’s Double Door, Orlando’s Social, Jerky’s Music Hall in Providence, R.I., and the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, Pa. There is also an app in the works for Knitting Factory Entertainment venues in Brooklyn, Reno, Spokane and Boise. For more information, just click here for the Ticketfly website.
