Beyoncé In 2D

Scheduled for a January release, Bluewater Productions’ latest bio comic book is all about Beyoncé, tracing the singer’s ladder climb to the top of the music biz as it chronicles her days with Destiny’s Child, her marriage to Jay-Z and her life as one of the most famous women on the planet.

“Working on Beyoncé was quite an experience,” writer CW Cooke said. “Everybody knows who she is. And yet, there are so many little things and tidbits of knowledge that seem to be passed up when people talk about her in the media.”

Beyoncé isn’t the first pop star whose life has become content for a comic book company. Other stars that have received the Bluewater treatment include Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift as well as non-musical celebs such as Sarah Palin and Michelle Obama.
