TM Regrets The Error
Ticketmaster apparently had a hitch in its get-along when it sold tickets for Kenny Chesney’s Philadelphia show in June.
Ticketmaster notified several online buyers that they were undercharged because of an “inadvertent error at the box office.” About 200 to 300 tickets out of the 60,000 available for the Lincoln Financial Field show were affected.
The price of the upper-deck club-level seats are not $25, as the patrons were charged, but $99.50.
Buyers had the option of getting a refund or paying the additional $74.50.
“This was an unfortunate glitch that, when discovered, was immediately rectified,” a rep told the Inquirer. “It was an unfortunate error where both parties stepped forward to fix it.”
