Miranda Cosgrove Announces Headlining Tour

Miranda Cosgrove has her own tour to do in support of her debut album released earlier this year. Yes, she’s another teen looking to capture your heart, but think of it this way: what were you doing when you were 17?

Cosgrove has definitely racked up an impressively large number of achievements for someone whose career is still blossoming. She starred as the title character in the Emmy-nominated Nickelodeon show “iCarley,” appeared in “School Of Rock” and provided the voice for Margo in “Despicable Me.”

Musically, she released her debut album, Sparks Fly, in April and is releasing a new song, “Dancing Crazy,” exclusively on iTunes Dec. 21. She is also one of the performers slated to perform for President Obama on the “Christmas In Washington” TV special airing on TNT Dec. 17 at 8 p.m., and will release an EP in March. And to think our biggest goal when we were 17 was passing calculus.

Cosgrove’s headlining outing begins Jan. 24 in Kansas City at the Uptown Theatre. With a month’s worth of dates, look for her in Minneapolis at the State Theatre Jan. 25; Chicago (Rosemont) at the Rosemont Theatre Jan. 28; Cleveland at the Playhouse Square Center Jan. 30; Detroit at The Fillmore Feb. 1; New York City at the Beacon Theatre Feb. 12; Orlando at the Hard Rock Live Feb. 17; Houston’s House of Blues Feb. 20 and Anaheim at the House of Blues Feb. 24.
