While various musicians have performed in Meat Beat Manifesto over the years, the band has always been structured around “sound sculptor” / cofounder Jack Dangers. These days Dangers’ comrade-in-arms is Ben Stokes.

Touring in support of the group’s latest album, Answers Come In Dreams, MBM launches its trek in Seattle at El Corazon Feb. 2, plays Portland, Ore., at Peter’s Room Under Roseland Feb. 3; Vancouver’s Venue Feb. 4 and lands in Los Angeles for a show at the El Rey Theatre Feb. 9.

Other stops include San Francisco (Feb. 11), Denver (Feb. 15), Chicago (Feb. 16) and NYC (Feb. 19).

“The live performance has become an integral component of my sound and production,” Dangers said. “The question is how to do it better than last time.”
