Country Thunder Fests Make Some More Noise

The Country Thunder USA festivals in Arizona and Wisconsin have been filling up the spots on the 2011 lineups with the recent additions of artists including Easton Corbin, Eric Church, Neal McCoy and Clay Walker.

Arizona’s edition of Country Thunder is set for April 7-10 in Florence.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band fans will be thrilled to hear the group was recently added to April 8’s lineup along with Church.

Country Throwdown, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, Tinley Park, Ill.

The next day will feature performances from McCoy and ACM “Top New Male Vocalist” winner Rodney Atkins. Walker will help close out the festival April 10.

Previously announced performers include Sawyer Brown (April 7), Jason Aldean (April 8), Martina McBride (April 9) and Toby Keith (April 10).

Wisconsin Country Thunder takes place July 21-24 in Twin Lakes.

Sawyer Brown will help get the festival started July 21. McCoy can also be found at both festivals. In Wisconsin he’ll perform July 23. Saturday’s lineup also features 2009 CMA “New Artist of the Year” winner Darius Rucker.

Corbin will show off his No. 1 hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It” on July 24.

Previously announced performers include Lady Antebellum (July 21), Zac Brown Band (July 22), Martina McBride (July 23) and Rascal Flatts (July 24).

Tickets are on sale now.

Four-day general admission passes to Wisconsin Country Thunder are priced at $99. The price is valid through the end of the month.

Four-day general admission passes to Arizona Country Thunder are priced at $120. This price will increase after Jan. 15.
