Charmenko Shown Exit
Exit Festival has terminated its business relationship with Charmenko agency and begun direct negotiations for international acts.
Festival co-founder Ivan Milivojev, who has already confirmed Arcade Fire as one of the headliners for this year’s event, says he’s grateful for the help and guidance he’s had from the Istanbul-based agency but it’s now time for the 12-year-old gathering to do its own booking.
Milivojev admitted his entertainment budget has also been trimmed because the 2010 festival lost money. The Balkan economic crisis was the main reason the crowd fell 15 percent short of its usual 50,000-capacity sellout.
The other acts confirmed for Exit July 7-10 include Hadouken!, James Zabiela, Tiga, and Gramophonedzie.
