Mexican Grammy Winner In New Cancun Road Accident
Mexican authorities say Latin Grammy-winner Ana Barbara has been involved in another traffic accident in the tourist resort city of Cancun.
Officials in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo say the singer was driving an SUV that hit the back of another vehicle at a stoplight Thursday.
Traffic officer Abraham Coutino says no one was injured and the singer’s insurance will pay for damage to the other vehicle. He says Ana Barbara signed a waiver and faces a fine.
Ana Barbara was investigated in July after a hit-and-run accident killed a 79-year-old woman. The victim’s family alleged Ana Barbara was driving, but authorities said they determined the vehicle was driven by her bodyguard.
