Calle 13’s May Road Trip

Latin group Calle 13 launches a short U.S. tour in May, playing both coasts and a few dates in between.

Touring in support of the band’s fourth album, Entren los Que Quieran (Everybody Is Welcome), the band made up of step brothers René Pérez Joglar (aka Residente) and Eduardo José Cabra Martínez (Visitante) along with sister Ileana Cabra Joglar (PG-13) begin their musical adventure in Washington, D.C., at El Boqueron II May 5, play NYC’s Irving Plaza May 6 and stop in Chicago for a show at the Congress Theatre May 7.

The two-time Grammy/10-time Latin Grammy winners also play Edinburg, Texas, at the Edinburg Baseball Stadium May 8; Dallas’ House Of Blues May 9; Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live May 12; San Francisco at The Factory May 14 and Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino May 29.

There are also a few dates with venues to be announced – San Diego (May 11), Sacramento (May 15) and Miami (May 27).

Calle 13 makes its late-night TV debut on May 10 when the band appears on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
