Hours before the show, The New Parish in Oakland, Calif., announced via its Twitter page Wednesday evening that it was hosting a special performance with Hill and Chappelle set for April 14 at 1 a.m. SFWeekly.com noted that the show didn’t end until 3:30 a.m.

Fans that prefer catching shows at a more decent hour will be happy to hear that five more gigs have been added to the books.

The new dates begin April 24 with a performance at Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, Colo. Ms. Lauryn Hill will also be hitting up Santa Barbara, Calif. (May 14); Eugene, Ore. (May 20); Seattle (May 22) and Detroit (June 4).

Last week shows were added for Las Vegas (May 13) and Pomona, Calif. (May 17).
