Fake Police Charged

Two members of Lil Wayne’s security team were arrested in Bloomington, Ind., for impersonating police officers while escorting the rapper and his entourage.

Ronald Harrod and Larry Richardon were reportedly dressed like police and manned two vehicles with lights and sirens as they led a convoy of tour buses following Lil Wayne’s performance at Indiana University’s Assembly Hall April 12. The show, the only student production on Wayne’s “I Am Still Music” tour, also included Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj.

The men reportedly told police they had permission and credentials to drive with lights and sirens. However, upon further investigation police apparently found otherwise and discovered Harrod’s license was suspended, according to the Indiana Daily Student.
University police told the paper the men weren’t hired by the school or by an affiliated security company.
