So far, the Kyuss Lives! tour has encompassed Europe and Australia. While a proper North American tour is expected to be in the pipeline, this week the band released information on shows in New York and California.

For the East Coast, look for Kyuss Lives! at New York City’s Terminal 5 Sept. 23 while West Coast fans will have to wait until the band plays Pomona, Calif., at the Fox Theatre Oct. 8 with The Sword opening both dates. Joining Garcia, Oliveri and Bjork will be guitarist Bruno Fevery.

The Kyuss Lives! tour has its beginnings in Garcia’s 2010 solo tour, billed as “Garcia Plays Kyuss” in which he was backed by a band made up of friends and musicians from Belgium and the Netherlands as well as axeman Fevery. While performing at France’s Hellfest, Garcia was joined on stage by Bjork and Oliveri. After the show, the Kyuss vets decided to keep on working together, this time under the moniker Kyuss Lives!

Tickets for New York and Pomona are on sale now. For more information, visit KyussLives.com.
