McAfee Now Overstock

McAfee Stadium – better known as the 47-year-old venue that hosts the Oakland Raiders and the Oakland Athletics – has the fourth name in its history: Overstock.com Coliseum.

The originally named Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum is reportedly in the process of rebranding after McAfee chose not to renew its $1.3 million annual naming rights deal.

Overstock.com paid $7.2 million to name the stadium for six years.

The online retailer is in the process of changing its URL to O.co and has reportedly reserved the right to change the stadium name to O.co Coliseum.

Meanwhile, the Raiders and A’s have made overtures they want to leave the last venue in the U.S. to house both a professional football and baseball team, and their leases expire in 2013.
