Dance Fest Broadens Outlook

What’s claimed to be Europe’s largest dubstep and soundsystem festival is on the road with a UK and European club tour designed to draw even more attention to the Sept. 1-4 main event.

Croatia’s Outlook Festival, which was started by five UK-based promoters in 2008 and two years later moved from Petrcane to Pula, began the festival’s launch party roadshows in the UK at Resonance in Reading April 1.

Using various lineups of DJs and dance acts, which enabled Outlook to run two or even three shows per night, the tour has since visited other venues in the UK, Greece, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, France, Israel and Spain.

The home show in Croatia is at Seasplash in Zagreb May 7, followed by further club shows in the UK, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.

The lineup for this year’s Outlook includes Barrington Levy, Razor Rekta, Night Owl, MJ Cole, and Kromestar.
