Jacko King of Vegas?

Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch will be re-created in Las Vegas if Cirque du Soleil has its way.

The Mandalay Bay hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip plans to open a large entertainment complex that would include a Jackson-themed lounge, a memorabilia museum and a theatre designed to replicate Neverland.

“This place, Mandalay Bay, is going to become the home of Michael Jackson in many, many ways,” Cirque du Soleil President Daniel Lamarre said in an announcement at the casino.

Cirque du Soleil’s homage to Jackson kicks off in October. The $57 million “Michael Jackson, the Immortal World Tour” will open in Montreal and hit 30 cities including New York, Miami, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Vegas.
