Stageco Opens London Office
Global stage builder
So far there’s been no official confirmation regarding the relationship between the two companies, which are both headquartered in Brussels, beyond the mailing of invitations to a launch party at their 1,265-square-foot building in Kings Cross May 18.
At press time it wasn’t possible to get comment from Stageco or Tait, although it’s expected that full details of the new venture will be revealed at the launch.
Most industry insiders appear to think it will be “a European strategic partnership” rather than a new joint venture company.
Stageco has worked on the biggest tours from the world’s biggest acts including the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Bruce Spingsteen and U2.
Tait was responsible for some of the stage equipment including the innovative design of the transformable LED screens.
Stageco also provides stages for some of Europe’s largest festivals including the UK’s V Festivals, Pinkpop in The Netherlands, Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Belgium’s Rock Werchter, which is in its hometown.
