New Play About Bon Scott
A new play based on the life of AC/DC’s Bon Scott opens in July at Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre for a two-week run.
“Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be – The Story Of Bon Scott” stars Nick Barker, Doug Parkinson and a band made up of members of Electric Mary and The Casanovas.
It looks at Scott’s beginnings in Scotland, before his family moved to Perth. Before joining AC/DC, Scott was in a teen pop band called The Valentines and then hippy folk act Fraternity.
