All Good Returns

The All Good Music Festival, which takes place annually on Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, W.Va., returns next month, this time with a mass gathering permit.

The festival, which drew a record 23,000 last year, needed a permit this year because of Preston County Commission’s new mass gathering ordinance.

Organizers Walther Productions paid $164,000 for the permit ($1.50 per person, per day, for 20,000 to 39,999 attendees). The festival, featuring Furthur, Primus and Umphrey’s McGee among others, is scheduled July 14-17.
