Buckingham’s sixth solo album, Seeds We Sow, comes out Sept. 6. Described as the artist’s first self-released effort, Buckingham wore several hats while prepping the disc, including producing and mixing the album as well as writing and performing the songs.

The 31-city tour begins three days after Seeds We Sow drops with Buckingham launching his tour with two nights at Reno’s Nugget Casino Sept. 9-10. Other stops include Boise’s Egyptian Theatre Sept. 12; Minneapolis at the Pantages Theatre Sept. 16; Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater Sept. 17; Chicago’s Vic Theatre Sept. 18; Philadelphia at the Keswick Theatre Sept. 22; Boston’s Wilbur Theatre Sept. 25; New York City at Town Hall Sept. 27; Atlanta’s Symphony Hall Oct. 7; Los Angeles at Royce Hall Oct. 13 and Seattle at Little Creek Casino Resort Oct. 23. Last stop on the schedule is Napa, Calif., at Uptown Theater Oct. 25.
