A death in the family is also the reason Drake has canceled his appearance tomorrow night at Florida’s Universal Orlando Resort, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The newspaper reports that a Drake representative issued a statement saying the rapper “hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future.”
At this time there hasn’t been any word regarding the identity of the deceased family member. In 2010 Drake postponed his European tour when his mother’s illness resulted in doctors moving up the date she was to undergo surgery.
