When The Spam Hit The Fan

The management of New Zealand’s biggest indoor concert venue, Forsyth Barr Stadium, had a run-in with Frontier Touring Company.

Frontier’s NZ rep Helen Eccles confirmed that she would book Meat Loaf in the 40,000-capacity Dunedin venue in October.

But when she asked for a contract, she was told the venue already had an agreement that Elton John would be the first act to play, a month later.

Eccles told the Otago Daily Times, “I’m not happy with those guys” but that she would work with them again.
