The man was attacked at the end of the show and airlifted to Boston Medical Center where he was questioned by detectives, according to WHDH-TV. His aunt said her nephew’s spleen was removed but is expected to make a full recovery.

The teenager is reportedly at college on a football scholarship but police had trouble identifying him because he had a fake ID belonging to a 22-year-old.

“If you look at the music today, particularly country music, used to be an easy night for us, but now we have serious problems with alcohol in parking lots during the country concerts,” Mansfield Police Chief Arthur O’Neill told WHDH. “But look at the content of some of their music, it’s all about the booze.”
