The newly announced tour marks the second North American tour for O.M.D. in 2011, having played a series of U.S. and Canada dates in March.

Sporting the original lineup of Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Martin Cooper and Malcolm Holmes, the band is touring in support of its first new album in 14 years, 2010’s History Of Modern.

With the trek launching at Miami’s Grand Central Sept. 16, other stops include Baltimore’s Rams Head Live! Sept. 19; two nights at New York City’s Irving Plaza Sept. 20-21; Chicago’s Vic Theatre Sept. 24; Seattle’s Showbox At The Market Sept. 29; Vancouver, British Columbia, at Commodore Ballroom Sept. 30; Los Angeles at Club Nokia Oct. 7; Austin’s La Zona Rosa Oct. 13; and Mexico City’s Corona Capital Festival Oct. 15.
