Merle Haggard’s Weekend

Merle Haggard was scheduled to play Billy Bob’s Texas in Forth Worth Saturday night. But that was before he went to a nearby hospital for some tests. Haggard stayed at the hospital through Sunday then left on his tour bus for his home in Redding, Calif.

Along with missing Saturday’s gig, Haggard postponed his Sunday night appearance at Inn Of The Mountain Gods in Mescalero, N.M. While the Fort Worth show hasn’t been rescheduled, Mescalero has already bagged a new date for Haggard – Oct. 23. Tickets for the Aug. 14 show will be honored on the new date.

Haggard’s next scheduled show is scheduled for Sept. 23 in Portland, Ore., at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Visit MerleHaggard.com for more information.
