County Nets Profit From McCartney Show

Cincinnati officials are apparently pretty pleased with the turnout for the first non-baseball event at the county-owned Great American Ballpark.

Hamilton County earned about $151,000 from a recent Paul McCartney show including $36,500 from parking fees and $50,000 for renting the Cincinnati Reds’ home out for a night, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

The cash will reportedly be placed into a fund for stadium maintenance and construction.
