Scheduled for Oct. 22-23 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., the lineup for the 25th annual Bridge School Benefit was announced during the first week of September. But a lot can happen in a few weeks and the list of artists appearing is slightly different than when it was released.

No longer scheduled to appear are Diana Krall and Jenny Lewis. But Einstein’s theory of relative concertivity demands that for every cancellation there must be an addition and adding Devendra Banhart and Norah Jones with The Little Willies keeps the universe in balance. Also added is late-night talker/funny guy Jimmy Fallon who will appear Saturday only to emcee the festivities.

The revised lineup has Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder, Mumford & Sons, Devendra Banhart, Norah Jones with The Little Willies and Los Invisibles featuring Carlos Santana, his wife Cindy Blackman Santana and guests appearing both days. Foo Fighters and Tony Bennett appear Sunday only.
