Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ 2012 Plans

The band has some festival dates lined up on both sides of the pond with TP & Co. playing the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival April 28; the Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo June 15 and the previously announced Isle Of Wight Festival gig June 22.

But North America comes before Europe. The first date on the newly released itinerary has the band playing Broomfield, Colo., at the 1st Bank Center April 19. Other engagements include North Little Rock, Ark., at the Verizon Arena April 21; Albuquerque’s Tingley Coliseum April 24; Wichita at the INTRUST Bank Arena April 26; Alpharetta, Ga., at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park April 29; Estero, Fla., at the Germain Arena May 1; Orlando’s Amway Center May 3; Austin’s Frank Erwin Center May 5 and St. John’s Newfoundland, at the Mile One Centre June 3.

Halifax is also on the schedule with a date and time to be announced.

Playing Europe for the first time in two decades, non-festival stops include The O2 Dublin June 7; Cork, Ireland at The Marquee June 8; Hamburg’s O2 World June 10; Stockholm at the Ericsson Globe June 14; Paris at the Grand Rex June 27 and Mannheim, Germany, at the SAP Arena June 30.
