Eisley’s upcoming EP, a five-song collection called Deep Space, drops Feb. 14 with the band climbing aboard the tour bus a couple weeks later when it plays Spokane, Wash., at the Whitworth University HUB March 8. Other stops include Omaha’s Waiting Room March 11; Milwaukee at Shank Hall March 12; Grand Rapids, Mich., at Calvin College March 13; Pittsburgh’s Smiling Moose March 14; New York City at the Bowery Ballroom March 18; Boston’s Red Room at Café 939 March 20; Toronto at Drake Underground during Canadian Music Week March 21; Detroit at the Shelter March 23; Memphis at the High Tone Café March 28; Austin’s Parish March 30; and Dallas at the Granada Theater April 1.

Joining Eisley will be Christie DuPree and Tampa-based band Marksmen.

As to the EP’s Deep Space moniker, singer/songwriter/guitarist Sherri DuPree-Bemis says the title was inspired by sci-fi master Ray Bradbury.

“He is one of my favorite writers of all time and consistently inspires me,” DuPree-Bemis said. “Outer space has always fascinated me and I wrote this about a couple leaving earth to live life in space, knowing they may never see earth again.”

Some shows are already on sale. Detroit and New York go up this weekend. Visit Eisley.com for more information.
