Artists Sue Over Musicians Village

Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis are suing a New Orleans medical group for using the entertainers’ images in the medical group’s promotion materials without permission.

The lawsuit, filed Dec. 19 in U.S. District Court of Louisiana, accuses Peoples Health Network, Inc., of unjust enrichment by using video footage of Connick and Marsalis performing at the grand opening of the Musicians’ Village housing development after being denied permission to film the event.
