LMFAO Concert Blaze
More than 7,000 people were evacuated from an LMFAO concert at the National Engineers Coliseum near the capital of Honduras Dec. 29 when a fire broke out at the end of the show.
“They told us that there was a fire when we were on stage,” the duo’s Redfoo tweeted following the incident. “Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls.”
Smoke began to fill the building, but the crowd was evacuated safely and roughly two dozen concertgoers were treated for smoke inhalation and anxiety issues, Univision reported.
Officials are apparently tying the incident to a fire in the Coliseum’s electrical system, and haven’t ruled out foul play just yet as an investigation is ongoing.
