Sony’s New Prexy

Sony Corporation could soon have a new president in Kaz Hirai, who’s reportedly on track to replace current president Howard Stringer.

Hirai got started working for Sony Music Entertainment Japan in the mid ’80s before he joined the company’s Computer Entertainment division a decade later.

Reports of Stringer leaving the job have been circulating since last fall, when the New York Post reported he would step down in March 2012.
