Go Group Heads For Budapest
Green Operations Europe is off to Budapest for its next workshop on how the festival and events industries can become more environmentally friendly.
The pan-European think-tank will host its second gathering in the Hungarian capital April 25-26.
The event is run in conjunction with the UK’s Bucks New University.
In May 2011 it made its debut in Amsterdam and attracted 35 of Europe’s best-known outdoors.
The successful Green Events conference held in Bonn, Germany, Nov. 2-3 has increased interest in green issues. The Budapest gathering, which is at Gödör Club, is expected to draw even more events.
In four intense sessions, the GO Group workshops will cover major issues for sustainable event management such as international green standards, green issues communication and waste management.
There will also be presentations on green issues and best practise exchanges.
The participation fee is euro 200 and is available at Bucks New University’s online shop.
