Guns N’ Roses Set NYC Agenda

Axl Rose & Co. will stylishly descend upon the Big Apple during Fashion Week, eschewing arenas for intimate venues.

The game plan calls for Guns N’ Roses to rock Roseland Ballroom, Terminal 5 and Webster Hall in February, giving fans a chance to experience the band in venues that aren’t known for basketball games and hockey matches.

Here’s the plan. GNR will play Roseland Ballroom Feb. 10; Terminal 5 Feb. 12 and Webster Hall Feb. 15.

The Webster Hall show will mark the band’s return to the venue where it played an MTV concert more than two decades ago when the place was called “The Ritz.” The gig resulted in a concert bootleg – Live At The Ritz – that’s still a favorite among trading circles 24 years later.

To commemorate the Webster Hall / The Ritz show, all the current signs as well as the name on the building’s marquee will be swapped out with signs proclaiming it “The Ritz.”

There are also a few newly listed non-NYC shows on schedule – Chicago at House Of Blues Feb. 19; Silver Spring, Md., at The Fillmore Feb. 23 and Atlantic City at House Of Blues Feb. 24.

Here’s the ticket situation: A presale for the New York City shows begins Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. ET and the public onsale launches Feb. 1. The presale for Chicago, Silver Spring and Atlantic City begins Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. ET and the general onsale starts Feb. 3. VIP packages are available. Visit GunsNRoses.com for more information.
