Mastodon And Opeth To Co-Headline Spring Journey

Playing more than 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada, Mastodon and Opeth share top billing on a road trip beginning the first week of April.

Both bands released new albums in September with Mastodon unleashing The Hunter on Reprise to a waiting world a couple of weeks after Opeth let loose with Heritage via Roadrunner Records.

With both bands alternating in the closing slot, the tour begins in Portland, Maine, at the State Theater April 4. Other stops include Boston (April 5); Montreal (April 6); New York City (April 11); San Antonio (April 20); Los Angeles (April 26); Silver Spring, Md., near Washington, D.C. (May 9) and Atlanta (May 12).

Special guest Ghost appears on all dates.
