Promising an “authentic, fresh and unique musical experience,” Catalpa will ultimately host more than 50 artists, giving you rock, indie, hip-hop, reggae and electronic for two fun-filled days in the Big Apple. The newly announced lineup also includes The Big Pink, AraabMuzik, Felix Da Housecat and Fort Atlantic with more acts to be announced soon.

Presented by party outfit Frisky, Catalpa has plenty to keep you entertained. The 60-foot inflatable “Church of Sham Marriages” pretty much functions as the name implies, giving festivalgoers opportunities to redefine matrimonial bliss in ways you’ve probably never even thought about such as group marriages or even marrying yourself.

Then there’s Catalpa’s “Silent Disco Tent” where local DJs keep the beats going while festivalgoers outfitted with headphones dance and sing.
