Flo Rida To Compensate Aussie Promoter
The New South Wales District Court ordered
Brent Lean of Mothership Music sued for $55,000 in up-front performance fees paid to the rapper and $25,000 in damages.
Flo Rida was to headline the festival last October.
Two hours before his set, Lean was advised he was not coming – even though transportation was waiting for him at his Sydney hotel.
If the U.S. rapper does not pay the $80,000, his assets in Australia will be frozen, Judge Judith Gibson said.
