The Beach Boys On SiriusXM

The Beach Boys will warm up for their 50th anniversary tour with a performance and interview for SiriusXM subscribers.

Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks will play songs from their new album as well as your favorite Beach Boys hits Thursday, April 19. The performance airs May 26 at 12 p.m. EST as part of SiriusXM’s “Artist Confidential” series during the four-day “Beach Boys Endless Summer Weekend” special May 25-28 on ‘60s on 6, channel 6. 

The Boys will also chat with SiriusXM host Jim Ladd about the upcoming tour during the “Artist Confidential” segment. The “Beach Boys Endless Summer Weekend” special features Beach Boys tunes along with additional summer songs from the ‘60s.

“Beach Boys fans span multiple generations, and we are excited to give our subscribers a special taste of this legendary group just as they set out on their global 50th anniversary tour,” said Steve Blatter, senior vice president, music programming, SiriusXM.

The 50th anniversary tour kicks off April 24 in Tucson, Ariz., at the Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheatre. Last date in North America is booked July 15 in Stateline, Nev., at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena At Harveys, followed by two shows in Germany Aug. 3-4 and three gigs in Japan Aug. 16-17 and Aug. 19.
