Gaga The New Material Girl?

Media reports suggest Madonna’s tickets may not be selling as quickly as hoped, but punters seem more interested than ever in seeing Lady Gaga.

London’s Evening Standard reported that Lady Gaga has announced a second show at Twickenham Stadium, after selling out the first in 10 minutes, while Madge has yet to sell out Hyde Park July 17. It’s the only English date on her current world tour.

If Gaga sells out a second show at Twickenham, she will have shifted 110,000 tickets.

According to The Scotsman, the “official promoter” still has “thousands” of tickets left for Madonna’s show at Edinburgh Murrayfield, although some secondary sites are trying to get £900 for tickets with a face value of £77.

Both papers suggest the Material Girl may have set her ticket prices too high. Her Hyde Park tickets are £70 ($112) and £125 ($200), while seeing Lady Gaga at Twickenham costs £50 to £80.
