Sublime With Rome Summer Shows
The alternative ska/punk band, which features singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez and former Sublime bassist Eric Wilson, put out its debut album, Yours Truly, last year. The release marked the first album since Sublime broke up in 1996, following frontman Bradley Nowell’s death.
Cypress Hill and Pepper support the majority of the July and August gigs. Dirty Heads, Matisyahu and The Expendables open select shows.
The tour begins June 1 with a performance at the Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre. The last date on the schedule is Aug. 30 in Saint Augustine, Fla., at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
Shows along the way include Fairbanks, Alaska, at the Blue Loon June 8; Pittsburgh’s Stage AE July 11; San Antonio, Texas, at the Sunken Garden Amphitheatre July 17; Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Beach July 21; Boston’s Bank Of America Pavilion Aug. 20; and Atlanta at The Masquerade Aug. 29.
New dates have just been added in Hartford, Conn. (Aug. 19); Holmdel, N.J. (Aug. 21) and Brooklyn, N.Y. (Aug. 24).
Fans can also find Sublime With Rome at a number of festivals and fairs this summer such as River’s Edge Music Festival in Saint Paul, Minn. (June 23); Summerfest in Milwaukee (July 8); Bethlehem Musikfest in Pennsylvania (Aug. 4); Douglas County Fair in Roseburg, Ore. (Aug. 8); and Hemp Heals Music Festival in Philadelphia (Aug. 25).
Tickets for the majority of the dates are already on sale. Onsales for Hartford, Holmdel and Brooklyn begin Friday, May 4. VIP packages including meet & greets are also available.
