Trinity Roots In Liquidation

New Zealand reggae band Trinity Roots’ registered trading company, Trinity Roots Ltd., is in liquidation.

It owed nearly NZ$100,000 ($79,071.40) in unpaid tax and penalties.

The band’s co-manager Ange Kalogeropoulos blamed its woes on previous management.

In 2006, the company was fined NZ$1,560 for 22 charges of failing to file tax and GST returns over three years. Its defense in court was it had “overlooked” the tax returns.
