WME Sharing Silver Lake Love

Technology investment company Silver Lake Partners’ recent purchase of a one-third stake in William Morris Endeavor netted a big chunk of change for the agency.

But the cash windfall won’t get distributed just to WME’s board members and partners, apparently. A source reportedly close to the matter told Deadline Hollywood even WME’s agents and assistants will get a cut of the money as “a token of appreciation.”

“There are some checks that are obnoxiously high, and there are some checks that are high enough,” the source said.
