Trina No-Show Suit

As Miami rapper Trina received some BET nominations, she also got notice there is a potential lawsuit for a no-show at a St. Louis club.

Trina was to make an appearance at Imperial Palace May 19 for $7,000, according to the promoter, whose lawyers are gearing up for a filing that will ask for $16,000 because of added promotional costs and other damages, according to TMZ.

The attorneys said they have sent letters to her agent (Trina is not exclusive to one agency), and the promoter says people were upset she didn’t show to the party and demanded refunds.

Trina’s reps say she canceled long before the event and offered to return the advance, but the promoter refused. They also claim the promoter refused to accept it, falsely billed the appearance as a performance, and are also considering litigation.
