Del Rey Cancels

Lana Del Rey canceled her debut showcase in Japan May 27, a day before the Tokyo club show was scheduled.

It’s her second no-show this year. The singer was originally supposed to play the same club in February but postponed until May citing a heavy schedule.

The reason for the cancellation this time was said to be “exhaustion.”

On her Twitter account, she apologized directly to her Japanese fans, saying, “Wish I could be with everyone in Tokyo but I’m really sorry I am sick.”

A representative said that Del Rey wanted to perform “a show that the fans deserve.”
