Westlife’s Screen Farewell

The Westlife farewell show at Dublin’s Croke Park June 23 will be beamed to 200 venues in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

It will enable thousands more to see the show, after its 80,000 tickets sold out in less than five minutes.

BBC Worldwide, the BBC’s commercial arm, and content provider By Experience have made a deal with music giant Sony and Westlife to co-produce the live film.

“It is bound to be a hugely emotional night and we expect to have tears in our eyes for nearly every song,” Westlife said in a statement.

Westlife’s Farewell Tour opened May 29 with six nights at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
